Ecuadorian native nacional heirloom cacao varieties grow on the hills of the Santo Domingo de Las Tsachilas, three hours east of the capital, Quito. The resulting chocolate has a complex profile of floral notes with tropical fruits, little acidity and a nutty, mellow chocolate taste.
